There is a good chance that there will be a few NCWBL Firsts at the upcoming Winter Tournament. These include 1st player to reach 50 RBI, 1st player to reach 15 HR, 1st player to reach 40 hits and more.
Here's people to watch:
RBI: HR: Hits:
Tyler Kowalczyk-49 Tyler Kowalczyk-13 Tyler Kowalczyk-37
Blake Houston-43 Blake Houston-13 Blake Houston-33
Daniel Mullis-42 Cody Simpson-12 Jessie McDaniels-32
Jessie McDaniels-34 Danile Mullis- 10 Daniel Mullis-31
This list is dominated by Team Extreme players so look for TE to put up big runs in the upcoming tournament and walk away champions once again.

The 2009 Summer Tournament All-Tournament Team has been announced. It consists of Tony Wagoner, Matt Miller, Blake Houston, Tyler Kowalczyk, and Denver Dombroski. If it wouldnt have been for the solid pitching from Tyler Kowalczyk he probably would not have made the cut. He's hitting did not live up to expectations although he batted in 18 runs. Denver Dombroski made the team although he only played in one game. This was largely because he went 2-3 at the plate and struck out the side in his one inning of work on the mound.

Stats from the 2009 NCWBL Summer Tournament are finally posted. We are sorry it has taken so long. For a while there was more on our plate than we could chew so we were unable to complete the stats quickly. Thank you for your patience. The NCWBL Records website will be updated at the end of the year.

Jessie McDaniels, former Clermont Warriors star, has gone to Team Extreme. This is the second giant acquisition Team Extreme has made in the past month. First the picked up Daniel Mullis and now they have McDaniels. Jessie McDaniels will provide solid pitching to a line-up that lacks pitching depth. He will also provide more power to the already explosive Team Extreme line-up. Jessie McDaniels is currently injured, but look for Team Extreme to be hard to stop once he is back in action.

After the loss of star player Denver Dombroski, Team Extreme needed to find a replacement for the upcoming NCWBL Summer Tournament. Once the Clermont Warriors declared that they will not entry the tournament due to injuries, Team Extreme chose to acquired Daniel Mullis. The former enemy of Team Extreme will play first base just as Denver Dombroski did. Mullis will also bat clean-up in the highly potent lineup of Team Extreme. Mullis put up huge numbers at the Summer Kickoff Tournament. He was in the running for the HR Champ and RBI Champ awards. Team Extreme is looking for another big tournament out of him hoping to defeat the Charlotte Longballers, the team of Denver Dombroski, and once again crown themselves champions.
Can Team Extreme call themselves a Franchise now? It was predicted months before the Summer tournament that they would be the favored to win the now growing popular tournament. The 2009 Summer Championship started with pitcher Denver Dombroski on the mound. Although Dombroski didn’t collect the impressive strike-out count he did in the Winter tournament he allowed only four runs and lassoed the Clermont Warriors otherwise dominant batting giving up only minor ground balls and pop-ups. Dombroski was impressive but the real stars of the game were behind the mound. Team Extreme’s defense was nearly impenetrable. Excellent teamwork could be seen in every play. Whether Tyler Kowalczyk went to second for the force out or third Blake Houston and Cody Simpson were there to see the out through. A flurry of backhand flips and lobs following the sometimes impossible task of just fielding a Wiffleâ ball could fill an entire segment of ESPN’s top 10. Team Extreme’s batting dominated the game forcing the Warriors to imply the mercy rule after just four innings of play. Totaling 18 runs Team Extreme’s long ball came alive. Houston had 3, Kowalczyk 3, Simpson 3 and Dombroski 1 which was recorded the longest shot in NCWBL history to date landing 150 ft. from the plate. The oh so dangerous Tyler Rea reached with run bearing singles on multiple at-bats. “They just kept pounding the Warriors” a fan said. The win lands Team Extreme its second tournament title giving them the lead of 2-1 over Clermont for championships won. So can we call them a NCWBL Franchise? That answer could go both ways but one thing is for sure a third title win would most definitely raise the question again but for now we should just ask- Three peat!?

The All-Tournament Team has been announced. Go to the All Tournament Teams to see who made the cut.
Team Extreme took the gold in the 2009 Summer Kickoff Tournament. Early in the day, Team Extreme got murdered against the Clermont Warriors. They eventually met up again in the Championship. The results were different in this game though as Team Extreme won 18-4.
We are currently putting together a website which will store all of the NCWBL records. This site will be very detailed with just about every thinkable record and stat. It will display individual batting and pitching stats along with team batting and pitching stats. This website should be up and running by June 14th. We are expecting many records to be broken at this years Summer Kickoff Tournament as well.
The 2009 winter tournament MVP and captain of the Longballer’s Denver Dombroski has signed on with Team Extreme for the 2009 summer season. This following the Longballer’s withdrawal from the NCWBL for the 09 season due to scheduling conflicts. Dombroski is no stranger to the Team Extreme line-up. Team Extreme captain and NCWBL president Tyler Kowalczyk managed to seat Dombroski on his team roster for the 2009 winter tourney in which they went on to win rather easily. Team Extreme’s already stacked roster is leading many wiffler’s to think this might could be the Yankee’s franchise of the NCWBL.
